South Africans won the test series against West Indies

Hi all, last time when i gave my update on the third test match played between West Indies and South Africa, West Indies were playing their second batting innings on the third day of the test match. They had lost 7 wickets and had scored 134 runs thereby leading South Africa by 19 runs. Shivnarine Chanderpaul was unbeaten scoring a half century.

On the fourth day, West Indies lost 3 more wickets thereby they were all-out scoring a total of just 161 runs. Shivnarine Chanderpaul was unbeaten till the end scoring 71 runs consuming 179 deliveries. South Africans needed just 47 runs to win this match. This is supposed to be an cake-walk for them as they have 10 wickets, 1.75 days on hand. In 8.4 overs, South Africa chased its target by scoring 49 runs in total. South Africa won the match by 7 wickets. They have also won the series against the West Indies. Johan Botha was the best bowler from South Africa as he had taken 7 wickets in total with an economy rate of just 2.56 runs per over. He clinched the man of the match title. Dale Steyn was named as the man of the series for his brilliant spells throughout the series.
