Praveen Kumar took the wicket and it was an awesome start for the Indians which gave a real boost to the teams bowling. After the fall their first wicket, things started to worsen as they were loosing wickets in regular interval and their run rate dropping drastically. Todays updates on Cricket

Kiwis will be playing against the Srilankans on Friday. Kiwis made a remarkable victory against the Indians on Tuesday. India could score only 88 runs which was the lowest total ever scored against the New Zealand team. After such a great victory, Ross Taylor is pretty confident about his team in winning their second match which will be played against the Srilankans. Srilankans are also equally strong as they have very good bowling line up and a good batting line up.

Munaf Patel is returning back to the Indian team. After a year, he is playing in the team. He was added into the team as Indian bowling department has become very weak as some of the good bowlers like Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Sreesanth are suffering from injuries. Let us see what he will do to his team in the upcoming match. Next match will be played against the Srilankans on Sunday.

Final Test match: India vs Srilanka

Today, India and Srilanka will be playing their final test cricket match of the series. Srilanka is leading the series by 2-0. They won the first test match and second test match was drawn. Spin legend Muttiah Muralidaran took his 800th wicket to set the new test cricket record and finally got retired from the test cricket. In the second test match Lasith Malinga was ruled out due to knee injury. From India, Gautam Gambhir did not play due to the injury.

The final test match will be played at P Sara Oval, Colombo. This match will be more important to the Indians because they have already lost a match. Srilankans look very comfortable after winning the first match. Even if this match ends in draw, Srilankans will win the series for sure. So, India has to win this test match to level the series. India has not won a test series in Srilanka since 1993.

Lasith Malinga is making his comeback in this test match which gives another boost to the Srilankan team. But on Indian side, Gautam Gambhir has already been ruled out. Now, spin wizard Harbhajan Singh will not be playing due to calf injury. This adds another negative impact in the team. Whatever it might be, the play is on. India has to win the match to level the series which is gonna be a tough one according to me.
