Muttiah Muralitharan has announced his Retirement plans

Hello everyone, i am back with an very interesting news.


Srilanka's Ace bowler, Muttiah Muralitharan has announced his plans on Retirement from Cricket. He has planned to retire from Test cricket at the end of this year. He is one of the most prolific wicket taker in test cricket, he has taken 792 wickets in 132 test matches. He will be playing his last test match against West Indies who will be touring Srilanka in October. Two test matches will be played. Muralitharan needs only 8 wickets to make the mark of 800 wickets & become the only player to take 800 wickets in Test cricket.

Regarding ODI, he added "My future is all about playing one-dayers until the World Cup. If I am fit and good I will play until the World Cup and the World Cup will be the end of the road," he told the Sydney Morning Herald.

But one thing for sure is that he will be playing in IPL season 3. So i am very eager to see his play in this IPL.
